Well now I got this:
Code:
checking for BOO... configure: error: Package requirements (boo >= 0.8.1) were not met:
Requested 'boo >= 0.8.1' but version of Boo is 0.8.0.2730
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables BOO_CFLAGS
and BOO_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.
The packages are installed, but the ones in the repositories are the wrong version, I'll try to find the newer ones, but I recalled seeing on another post a problem with those later versions (they wouldn't compile or something like that)

It didn't work, needs some dependencies, I'll look into it, but I also found on a post on this forum that I can run ./configure -disable-boo
is that recommended?

This is what I need to install the F9 boo here:
Missing Dependency: mono(System.Core) = 3.5.0.0 is needed by package boo-0.8.1.2865-4.fc9.x86_64 (/home/felipe/Download/boo-0.8.1.2865-4.fc9.x86_64.rpm)
Missing Dependency: boo = 0.8.0.2730-9.fc8 is needed by package boo-devel-0.8.0.2730-9.fc8.x86_64 (installed)
And also I tried ./configure -disable-boo and it completed with no errors, but when I tried to run 'make' I get this error:
Code:
Compiling Hyena.dll...
./Hyena.Collections/QueuePipelineElement.cs(117,59): error CS0155: The type caught or thrown must be derived from System.Exception
Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings
make[4]: *** [../../../bin/Hyena.dll] Error 1

make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/felipe/Programas/banshee-1-1.2.1'
make: *** [all] Error 2
could it be related to disabling boo?

I think since you're already started in the dependencies, you should look into updating to entire f9. That would solve the dependency problem and save you the hassle of going through each package.

Well.. I had F9 installed here, but I downgraded to F8 because F9 was having some inexplicable crashes, and I was looking for something more stable.
And also, sulphur stinks (the element, not the fedora). Hehe...
