GRUB fails

I know it seems odd, but: after updating my Fedora9 with yum, I tried to restart my system and GRUB failed. All that I saw was black screen with word GRUB in the top left side and constant sound from PC speaker. My system had two operating systems installed: Fedora9 and Windows XP. Now i can't load either...

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Try re-installing grub using the install DVD.

grub-install /dev/sda example of how to reinstall Grub http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Reinstalling_GRUB
