I made the thins above; And wrote init 5;.... woooooov... it started in a graphical interface.... it is fedoraaaaa.....

So Mr nokia thanks a lot....
but I want to ask one thing, can't system start with this graphical interface without writing init 5,

Is there any way to start graphical interface automatically. So, I should mention that, after reboot and press a key, there are three options;

Fedora ........... (longer name)
Fedora ............(shorter name)
Other............. (Win Xp)

Is there any way to start graphical interface without logging in as root and writing "init 5"...

Thanks a lot... I wrote this message via firefox on fedora 9...

That happened because of text mode install. In GUI, open a terminal and type
Code:
su
gedit /etc/inittab
and replace 3 with 5 in the following line
Code:
id:5:initdefault:
Don't forget to save your modification

I did what u said,
it wrote
(gedit:7590): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager:
Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed.
[root@localhost home]#

and inittab opened...
I did it and rebooted, it works perfectly,,,,

But if you say to give full permission to user that I created, I will be appreciated...

thanks a lot...

Well, in Linux the principle of least privilege is one of it's strong points. And to be very clear, you don't need to run everything as full root. It's perfectly normal to be asked of root password when installing a program and it's dependencies.

Take it one step at a time. This is not Windows. You have a lot to learn/catch up and almost nothing you learned in Windows world is gonna help you here. Take a good look at the first subforum (Good Tips), look at Fedora FAQ and I'll see you around the forum.

P.S. Running everything as root and asking for help here will prevent many of the knowledgeable users around to respond to your or anyone else's queries. For reasons already explained, and a few others.
