What monitor do you have?

My monitor blinks and stuff when starting and logging outta x. I don't think thats a big deal. But its only 1 blink and it makes a funny noise.

You can change your refresh rate manunally if you wish by modying /etc/X11/xorg.conf or if your still using xfree86 by modying /etc/X11/xfree86config-4.

Exclamation Monitor blinks while trying to boot.

Hello friends,
I'm quite new in this forum. My problem is, that when booting for the first time, just after showing " Welcome to Fedora Core .... " , my monitor blinks, as if the refresh rate has gone high. When rebooted, the same happens, but after some time, after checking system integrity check, the booting process gets stuck after "Enabling Swap Space".
If minimun installation is done, the booting process completes without any hazard(in the text mode).
My configurtion : p-III 866MHz, intel 815, 256 mb RAM, agp card 32 mb(SiS).

Please help if possible.
