trying to install some ethernet cards

I've never used any UNIX system before but i've gotten tired of WIN and want a change. I got FC2 running but can't find drivers for either of my ethernet cards, one is a zonet zen1200 the other is a linksys wpc11 ver. 4 (wireless)
can anyone help me out ???

hey,

Just had a quick look over google for you,

seems your zonet card is using a realtek chipset in which case most linux distros will have 8139too.o or 8139too.ko . if that you should check out linux documentation project ( http://www.tldp.org ) for a PCMCIA howto which you'll find a link to below:

http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/doc...MCIA-HOWTO.pdf

as for the linksys try out this website

http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...pc11_linux.htm

or failing that

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/

or

http://sourceforge.net/projects/madwifi/

Hope I helped you out.
