which software to use for videophone or videoconference?

Hi... I tried with Ekiga and I think it has total worse video and time response slowest... Anyone of you have different than Ekiga?

Hi Demz... I have heard about Skype... I believe it is almost like AIM?? Can I use the video call by ip address instead of username like AIM??
