PICO Spell Check

Hi Gang

Well I have PICO installed but I notice the spell checker is in operable. I get "Spell-checking file "usr/bin/spell" not found. I download aspell and thought I installed correctly, but maybe thats not the case. Any clues?

Thanks

I must confess: I am a total newbie but proud to announce that I was able to deteremine that it was a rights isssue for the spell program. I ran chmod a+rx spell

I am good to go.

Maybe I spoke to soon. It appears spell check executes but it doesn't pick up on any misspelled words. Any Clues?

What is PICO? I yum searched it and googled it, none for yum, many for google. Provide me a link?

I know about hunspell and aspell being used with many applications.

Show us:
Code:
su -
rpm -qa | grep spell
My result, for comparison:
Code:
[marc@kiriyamablevins ~]$ rpm -qa | grep spell
aspell-0.60.5-6.fc9.i386
gnome-spell-1.0.8-5.fc9.i386
gtkspell-2.0.11-8.fc9.i386
aspell-en-6.0-9.fc9.i386
hunspell-en-0.20080207-1.fc9.noarch
hunspell-1.2.1-7.fc9.i386
[marc@kiriyamablevins ~]$
