This might help...
sudo yum install fusion-icon
Then, in KDE, create a link in ~.kde/Autostart

For Gnome or any of the other windows managers, i have no idea where to put the link or it it is needed.
Fusion-icon lets you easily manage themes and such from the system tray. The soft link just makes sure is starts every time you login. You can start it from the menus or from a terminal to try it out.
