How can I define short-cut (or hotkey) in Fedora 8

I want to define some keyboard short-cut for my Fedora 8, but I can not find where.
I just want to add some short-cut to switch between desktops or max/min the window.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

There are already shortcuts for these actions:

workspace switch = control+alt+<arrow key>
maximize: alt+f10
minimize: alt+f9

You can define new ones via: System->Preferences->Personal->Keyboard Shortcuts.

All of this info is for Gnome. If you're running KDE, I'm sure there's something similar but I wouldn't know the location.

Hi cicatrix1,
Thanks for your information.
However, it seems that it does not work on my Fedora, since I am using KDE. And I can not find the Keyboard Shorcuts setting.
