evolution and fedora 9 on exchange 2003

Hello all,

Just installed Fedora on my laptop (Dell D820), got the docking station to work with my external monitor. Now it is time to get evolution connected to our exchange server (2003).

I installed "evolution-exchange", and launched Evolution. I followed the same steps I used to set up an openSUSE 11 installation. However, when I launch evolution, I get the following error:

"could not authenticate to server (password incorrect??)"

I know the password is correct as I can log into our web access.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem, I configured it through IMAP instead which fixed the problem.

Identity
Go to Add Account and enter in your name and email address.

Recieving Mail
Server Type: IMAP

Server: Enter in exchange IP

Username: name of the mail account

Recieving Options
Optional, I didn't change it

Sending Mail
Server Type: SMTP

Server: Exchange IP again

Account Management
Name your account

And your done! Just select your mailbox from the list on the left, enter in your password and your all set.
