We need to know exactly which webcam you have. Post the output of:
Code:
/sbin/lsusb

At least you got the output right - which leads me to think you used the lsusb command, not lsups, and just retyped it wrong in the forum.

Anywho, your Chicony camera is supported by the UVC driver. See: http://linux-uvc.berlios.de/
Search that page for 04f2:b008

You need to install the kernel-devel package.
Code:
yum install kernel-devel

AFAIK, Digikam is used for managing photos from a Digital Camera, not a WebCam. You need a webcam application to make use of your webcam.

Try Cheese: http://www.gnome.org/projects/cheese/
Code:
yum install cheese
Or webKam for KDE: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show...?content=76902
