New Install, blank screen

Hi all,
I've just installed Fedora 9 64 bit (on sda along with Vista 64) & everything

claims success, EXCEPT that during the first boot, when I'm asked to send my configuration, no matter what I decide, pressing "Finish" results in a blank screen. My keyboard locks up (caps-lock doesn't toggle the indicator).
GRUB is my boot manager & only gives the options for Fedora & Other. Other boots Windows OK, but I'd like to play w/Fedora...

So, how long are you waiting before deciding that it's "locked up"?

Need some more info here, like: hardware specs, install method/media, installation options, any other relevant data....

Hi, after it stopped responding, I went for coffee - about an hour.
It's a relatively new PC. ASUS Maximus formula, 750G SATA partitioned to C: D: & Ubuntu.
I was trying to replace Ubuntu w Fedora. Tried first with DVD, but it asked for Fedora Disk 1 partway through, so I downloaded, checked sha1sum, & reinstalled from CDs.
Don't know what else counts as "relevant"...
BTW, there may be BIOS issues - I reset BIOS to default & was able to get to GRUB. Now when I pick OTHER, Vista boots OK, but when I pick Fedora, I get a blank screen.
