Installation of ns-2 in Fedora linux 9

Respected sir/madam,

This is Praveen , I need your help . Please help me out.

I'm doing my project on routing protocols and algorithms.I was told by my supervisor to use ns-2.33 in fedora linux version9 ( 32 bit).

I have installed fedora linux version 9 and while installing ns-2.33 ( at the earlier stage when I'm installing VMware player I have got a statement that execution is aborted).

So, do u want me to use these versions or can u suggest me other versions of either linux or network simulator, so that I can work on.

Please help me out.Thanking you.

Yours faithfully

Praveen
