Audio Streaming K3b

I'm using Audacity to download my favorite internet radio station. I record 80 minutes of music and then save it as a wav file. I can play the wav file back on the computer with xmms but when I burn a copy to cd with K3b it won't play on my cd player. Can someone give me direction on this subject. What are the proper steps in recording audio streaming and transfer to cd for playback?

You did create an Audio CD project in k3b, right? Drag the wav on an audio project and burn it.

It could be your CD player doesn't read CD-Rs well.
