Cannot Logout or Login to my email accounts

Hi

Some time back I posted a message saying that I could mostly not login in to my rediffmail account. Now the problem seems to have spread.

I cannot login to my fedoraforum account as it says site not found and similarly with my yahoo account.

Further - this esp. with my fedoraforum site it allows me to login only once a day.

A further problem is that it refuses to logout when I do manage to login ,the error message is the same "site not found".

Something seems to be matter with my FC 1 configuration , can any body help.

Thanks

I would ask someone from rediff and Yahoo as well.

On your end, you got a not found, as in 404? You are going to http://mail.fedoraforum.org/ and http://mail.yahoo.com/ respectively?

You are only allowed in once a day? What's the error if you try?

"website not found" something like

Could the problem be with the firewall

In the trusted devies only my eth0 is trusted and the internet connection is through a win xp dhcp server

Thanks

I would check your Network settings, particularly DNS. Sounds like domain names aren't resolving. Main Menu > System Settings > Network.

Yes I went and checked the settings

in the place where we are supposed to enter the DNS I had entered the win xp internet server address 192.168.0.1 I read the help and it said that its better to allow the server to do the DNS stuff, tried undoing it and rebooting (as asked by the computer) everytime the DNS option gets loaded.

The win xp server is a DHCP server but how does my computer automatically load the DNS, I guess I will have to stop that and then maybe the resolving of DNS' will be okay

Thanks
