OT: Forum for general Linux & Open Source Questions would be?

I'm guessing this is not the place for a newbie to be posting general Linux & Open Source Software questions.

If I Google I get a zillion choices

Would someone be kind enough to suggest a few fourms that be most useful for me as I begin to get educated and start using Linux.

I really appriceate any help.

In my opinion, this is an excellent place for newbies to ask those sorts of questions!
Linux Chat should be a good place to start.

There are many of us who would be more than happy to try and help you. This forum is probably one of the most open minded concerning other Linux distros also. Just keep it in Linux chat and I would suggest you do a lot of reading before you ask the question. If you look in the signature links of many of the posters and managers here you will find many good resources, most dealing with Fedora but some general sites.
