Gnome & KDE Logon

Hi At the moment I have Gnome set up and also KDE. It prob a noob question but the login screen is dire in FC9 I have tried using Gnome to no sucess. So tried KDE to change the login screen but even the download packages won't install is it me or has the login screen been forgotten.

Saying that still an uber distro just wish I can get my head around the login screen! Any help would be appreciated and someone to tell me I am not going mad as I thought I was sorted in FC8

My 1st post

Doug

I'm not sure, but is this what you're trying to do? http://forums.fedoraforum.org/forum/...d.php?t=186462

Cheers

No I don't want auto login in I just need to change the look of the front login screen. In FC8 you could hide users not just root would be a start but cannot find the option in the new gnome that comes with FC9.

So decided to try to use KDE, but unable to install any of the up-loadable login screens for some bizzare reason

Read through this thread for info. The first post is for Fedora 8, but afterward there's some help for Fedora 9: http://fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=187752
