isight always on

I was so happy my new installation of Fedora 9 on my macbook worked so flawlessy... when suddenly it began to behave strangely. In particular, it seems that the isight webcam is always on(the green light is on) and helt by a process and other processes can't use it...

what happened? how do I find out which process holds the camera?
