(pronounced "motion worker")
EDIT:

Just started listening to this song. One of the best songs I've heard in a long time.

very true.. but massive attack is still doin' stuff, maybe tricky. DJ Krush has a couple tunes( zen and skin against skin) morcheeba has a more jazzy style but still cool. Everything But The Girl - Protection is a great song. Portishead recently released a new album but its not exactly trip-hop.
Could you rattle off a few more of this genre to jog my memory, might have to talk to the songbird or see what's on the wire later

Currently listening to B52's Deadbeat Club, it just changed to Love Shack.
I kept hearing this nice beat on my radio, I'm deaf, so I asked my niece what it was, so now I got this "the B-52's Time Capsule" Their greatest hits album.

According to this news article, there's a link between what you listen to, and personality.
Hmmm. Well, knowing my musical tastes, that makes me a: hard-working, long-haired, uncreative, work-shy, sober, lacking self-esteem, introverted, outgoing, creative, at ease, not outgoing, high self-esteem, lacking self-belief, positive kind of person.
Another breakthrough in modern psychology .....

Well, good evening fellow music lovers.
Tonight's play list includes some Stevie Wonder, a little Nina Simone and, for variety, some Joe Satriani - boy, that guy can play!
Edit: If you're interested in listening to a bit of Joe, check these out (plus, he's touring the US & Canada in Oct/Nov 2008):
Back to Shalla Bal
One Big Rush
Surfing with the Alien
The Phone Call
