no usb under fedora 1 :(

I had problems installing fedora 1 on a KT 600 Motherboard (K7 Trition Gigabyte) with an AMD Athlon XP 2600.
I read through several newsgroups here and it said to disable the usb support in the BIOS and run "linux nofd" from the install line at the CD startup.

Well, it worked that way.

But how do I get my usb working now ??

When I enable usb support (1.0 & 2.0) in the BIOS, it will start booting - the hardware manager will find it and I am able to hit F2 to auto configure the usb-hosts for fedora.
After that it will freeze and not load anymore.
It will work again after I disable usb and the hardware manager will auto-UNconfigure usb for the fedora system.

Had anyone have the same problem ?
I would like to use usb under fedora since my printer and my didgital camera work through that.

Any help is welcome !
