Preupgrade/Fedora upgrade servers

I have tried to upgrade from Fedora8 to Fedora9 using preupgrade. After rebooting the system to start the upgrade, my computer told me, that it was unable to find the file /boot/upgrade/stage2.img. The problem can't be solved by selecting the device, that contains the file. But it is possible to select an upgrade via internet. But it asks me to specify a server-adress for the upgrade. Is it a good idea to upgrade this way? And which servers can i specify there (with a full path to something i guess)? Is there a list?

Could it be this bug?

Do you have the leading "/"?
