Debian Questions (dont worry, i love fedora)

I am wondering what the "debian-update-3.0r2.01-i386.iso" is... what is that CD for? Also, once I have installed the stable release how do I update the packages to all be from the "testing" slot?

That update CD appears to be a Woody r1 to r2 update image Only useful if you have release canidate 1 installed, I presume.

The only cd's i ever need for debian is the first 3, and for everything else I use apt-get.
