Unhappy X with ~100% of cpu usage

Hi there,

I have a problem in my Fedora 8 that keeps buging me, mostly when I leave my computer with a user logged on X, the X processes starts to consume a lot of cpu.

I didn't find what is cousing this, can someone help me trace it?

Here are some thing that could help:

Top to X:

Code:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
12491 root 20 0 619m 67m 7664 R 89 3.4 544:43.67 /usr/bin/X -br -nolisten tcp :0 vt7 -auth /var/run/xauth/A:0-igxpRY

Xstrace to X pid:

http://pastebin.com/f7c558e7c

ps axu

http://pastebin.com/f726a844b

cat /etc/redhat-release

Code:
Fedora release 8 (Werewolf)

uname -r

Code:
2.6.25.6-27.fc8
Tks in advance

sorry to insist but this is driving me crazy!!

Dunno what else I can to to find what's causing this all I see is X hanging and using a lot of CPU...

Is there any other way I can see what can be causing this?

Can I change my X version?

For a workaround for each user in gnome go to System, Preferences, Look and Feel, Screensaver. Uncheck "activate screensaver when computer is idle" then click the power management button, and move the sliders all the way to the right for the never put the computer and the display to sleep. I wrote this from Fedora 9, but 8's options should be very similar.
