Race Day
Well I've been gone so long that it seems the old NASCAR thread has disappeared or been pruned. Time to start a new thread I guess.
Today's race was great. The ending was very exciting.
And yes Stewart remains without a win although he won the Nationwide race yesterday.
(BTW I edited my sig - I know this PC is old but it works...)

She was great the first time, but I will post back when we are finished to let you know how she is in the stamina department.

I don't know. I don't watch that kind of racing. I stated this thread to discuss NASCAR racing.

Hmmm.
Kona ... Seriously, try Puppy Linux 4.0 in that box. I know it's not a Microsoft® product, but it really is a snazzy distro for low-end machines. As it's a liveCD, you can run it live, or install it. (It's so small it'll rattle around in a 256 meg partition.) In fact, you can install it on a FAT32 partition, so you needn't worry about interoperability. Your Windows® will read it, and it'll read your windows®. Either way ... it'll run circles around Win 98SE®, and it''s far and away more secure. No spyware, no viruses, no anti-virus overhead ...
<.. ..>
EDIT: Lemme look around a bit. I think I've got a shoebox full of old RAM around here somewhere ... Might just find another 128m stick of PC 133 ...
EDIT2: Here's a preview. http://www.fedoraforum.org/gallery/s...cutoffdate=all

I need a burner to get Puppy Linux going. A friend promised me one and will have it soon.
Should you find some PC 133 SDRAM lying around you would be a life saver.
I'm really itching to ditch Windows. It's horrible!

Easy. First, go here, and read the guidelines.
Then go to this page, select the forum you want, click it's link, then when that page loads, look in the upper left area for a button which is marked, "New Topic."
Click that, and get started.
Welcome aboard!
Dan

Well the end of this weeks race was killer. Cars were wrecking everywhere! Kyle Busch won the race.
Tony quit driving during the race. His car was driven by JJ Yeley. No wins for the 20 car so far...
By the way if a mod could remove the off topic posts I'd appreciate it!

It was a good race! I am tired this morning though. I thought Edwards had it from where we were sitting, but oh well...
Kona, I really wish you would lay off Stewart. Fine, you hate him. Great! I dont care, your constant ragging him isnt angering me, you are entitled to hate him. he is a crybaby. But the constant harping is annoying. It makes YOU look like a jerk. Almost like you are trying to get a rise out of me, or Glenzo, or anyone else. Really, Tony's bad luck just doesnt effect me personally, you know?

Nah I don't hate Stewart. I just don't like his crybaby attitude. And I'm not trying to get as rise out of anyone. Be that as it may I'll take your advice.

Thank you, I sure would appreciate that. And I hugely agree that he is a cry baby and also a prima-dona.
