duplicate menu entries in KDE4 menu editor?

I'm noticing that my KDE4 menu editor has dual entries for many
menu items. Also in KDE4 Help Center there's also duplication
of many of the menu entries in the Contents. Are either of these
known issues or have fixes? With the menu editor I removed
some of the extra entries (note, in the actual KDE4 app launcher the
apps are not dual listed, it's only in the editor I see multiple
entries)

Me too,, i have the same thing happening in my two machines running Fedora 9 KDE 4.0.x

is there a solution, or a script that will remove just the duplicate entries?

Thanks
