Dial on demand

Hi. I am in the process of using a FC box to act as a firewall. I have an ISDN modem that is started by the usual pppd.

What I want to know is how can I set up the box so that if it detects a DNS call that is outside of the local network and the ppp interface is down, it starts it up.

?

Thanks for any help.
