Yes! I use the Sun Java plugin for Firefox.

That's exactly what I used for Java. Yet there seems to be an issue with FF. And Konqueror.

That's strange. I'm using 32bit though - not sure if that makes a difference.

i reinstalled java. but i seem to be also having issues with my dsl line which might be exacerbating issues.

Actually I think the overiding issues was that I was runnig the latest jre from the sun site (u13?), Moved down to 1.6.0_5 and now it seems to be all good.
