    Question Library Question

Does anyone know of any standard industry used library for Sockets/Network programming used in Linux/Unix,Mac and Windows?
I'm looking for something I could learn to use when I decide to work for a Security/Internet company. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The socket API works in C++ exactly the same as in C. If you must complicate matters with a class wrapper, try asio, it's available in Fedora as package "asio-devel".

asio is included in boost.... so just install boost. (not from yum, but compile it yourself the last version)...
