wireless access point

I have a on board Atheros AR5007EG and I would like to set it up as an AP on my network and I was wondering if this was possible. i got it working with dangermouse's script(thanks DM) so I can see other wifi networks in my area.

well, does any one know if this is possible? I know about hostap but it doesn't appear to support my wifi.
