How can I install UFS or UFS2 filesystem in fedora8?

Hi

I would like to test UFS filesystem.

I have a external hd.

I used gparted to format this hd with reiserfs and works fine.

But UFS isnt avaliable into my gparted on fedora8. (I can read ufs but I can't select it)

I tried find something but always is for other UNIX distro like BSD and FreeBsd.

I read "People often call BSD Fast Filesystem incorrectly UFS".

So I am Lost.

Is it possible format external hd with UFS or even UFS2 from Fedora8 and use it?
