wifi-radar error! help!

I get the following error when I try to connect to a wireless net.

Error for wireless request "Set Nickname" (8B1C) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.
/var/run/dhclient.eth1.pid: interface name too long (is 26)

My wifi conf file is

[DEFAULT]
scan_timeout = 5
auto_profile_order = AUWLAN, any
speak_up = False
ifup_required = False
interface = wlan0
commit_required = False

[AUWLAN]
mode =
key =
use_dhcp = yes
security =
channel =
