I just got my new computer in a week ago, and I have had no expierience with Linux for about a year or so, so I wanted to see what was out there. I saw FC2, and wanted to try it out. My new computer is a Compaq, and I didn't get an XP install disc, it just came with everything on already, and I also have a Recovery Partition (Drive D

and a Recovery disc. I got partition magic, and re partitioned my hdd for FC2, and installed it. Everything worked great, I was up and running again, just playing around and looking at some new stuff, when I wanted to play a game of Counter-Strike on XP. So, I rebooted, and selected "Windows XP" to start up, and the "Compaq Recovery Process" started. I was wondering why it happened, so I restarted and tried again, I got the same problem. I called up Compaq, and told them my problem and they said, "Since dual booting your system is unsafe, that it was prevented on my computer", I got pretty pissed, so I thought about how windows would know I have another OS on there, and I realized it was Grub. Is there a way I can boot from a floppy with FC2? If so, can you tell me how? Or direct me to a place where I can learn to do so?
Thank you very much
