Can't start nmb service in F9

I cannot bowse my Samba network because I can't get nmb to start in F9. It starts fine in my F8 VMs on this machine, in F9 host it is enabled, and says "The status of this serivice is unknown." When I attempt to start it, it just sits there and does nothing at all. Same for smb, which is supposed to be started by nmb.

I have uninstalled and re-installed samba, but no joiy. Any suggestions ?

Check your /var/log/secure file. Selinux blocking it?

Try:
Code:
su -
system-config-firewall
See if Samba checked.

Thank you marcrblevins. I disabled SELinux and set the firewall allow Samba and all eth0 networks early on. I think I'm going to have to install F9 into a VM so I can draw a distinction between problems from the new OS and from the hardware.
