Compiz causes everything to go upside down

I've tried various combinations of the compiz packages in the repositories, and this is a pretty fresh F9 install -- no weird configuration or anything. But no matter what I try, this results (see screenshot). Does anyone know why compiz turns things upside-down like so, and how to fix this?

Edit: Forgot to mention, I'm using Intel GMA 950, with intel driver.

Hm, right after posting I decided to try removing the livna nvidia drivers, and that fixed it. (I have an nvidia card installed in addition to the integrated intel.)
