Fedora 9 and Mac OSX 10.5.2 File Sharing

When i used fedora 8, i was able to connect instantly to my mac and see all the files. Now I have to manually type in the address and connect. I can still see the files...but i no longer have permission to access the files. i checked the settings on my mac, and its set to have everyone read and write on the folders. I'm not sure what to do. Please if you give me advice on adding protocols, let me know how to install those, i only recently started to use linux.

Funny thing is I never had a problem with Fedora 8 either sharing files.
Now I can't share anything with 9.
