Changing ZIP Drive Path

Hello!
I would like to change my zip path, which changes with a number after /dev/sda*. I'd like to change this to /dev/zip or whatever is most appropriate. I'm new to Linux, and still trying to get everything working as I'd like.

Thank you!

You are going to have to create a rule in /etc/udev/rules.d/ in order to accomplish what you want. I have a rule for a parallel port zip drive, but it is archived on a dvd somewhere. I will look and see if I can find it. You can get help writing udev rules here.
