The Mood Here
I would just like to congratulate you good people at the Fedora forum for creating such a friendly and humourus atmosphere on this forum. It is shame there aren't more like this!

Hello:
Most things can be settled by some good old conversation over a few cocktails

The conversation over in blighty is more like..
Did you spill my pint?
Are you lookin' at my bird?
Booze intake is usually high on these occasions.
Have you ever seen a pub notice that reads:
Liquor in the front, poke her in the rear.

I thought I'd be nursing a hangover today, but after eating lunch I'm ready for a pint
Looks like I've still got plenty of beer left in the 3 kegs I put on tap yesterday

I would really like to add my appreciation of this forum also. On my other computer I 'test bed' other Linux OS's and, because I am never sure of what I am doing, I also watch their forums. The Fedora forum is the best I have ever seen, and, I think, the best I will probably ever see. Thank you all very, very much.

This is indeed probably the best forum around. A real honor to belong to it.

I'd like to add my appreciation to this forum, this is perhaps one of the only Linux forums where people do help you without making any snide remarks etc.
Also this is one of the best moderated forums, and the mood here is friendly.

I have to agree with everyone above, Fedora Forum is ace, and without it, I doubt I'd be using Linux today.
In my early days, I bounced around a few forums, and Windows ones before Linux, never have I found anywhere as accepting and understanding as here.
The admins are ace too! In the 3 years I've been registered on the forums, I've seen but 1 post that was spam, and that was removed fast enough, posts that start spiralling down a dark path are usually closed by the time I read them.
High praise and thanks to the admins, and all the users out there helping people, as they helped me.
Next round on me... Once I get back from the bank... Can I borrow that banana?

Funnily, I never even thought about spam before I was asked to become a CM. But now I can see clearly why I rarely, or ever saw it when I was a user. Sometimes it's like playing that 'Whack a Mole' game
