Yahoo! Messenger 9.0 beta with wine.

I am using Kopet & Pidgin for messeging. today i tried to install yahoo messenger 9.0 (Beta) using wine. It successfully installed on Fedora8 without any error. but at the login time when i try to type in password field some ":: ::" characters filled in password field and login failed.
anybody using Yahoo messenger in linux without any problem?

hi dear Hlingler,
kopet and pidgin are much better than using ymessenger 1.0.4. but doesn't support many features of Yahoo messenger.

Me personally, I would love to be able to use the avatars in Yahoo IM on Linux. But can't with pidgin.

avatars arent really a Big Concern for the Developer(s) of Pidgin,

It would be nice to have webcam support for yahoo. hopefully this will happen with pidgin sometime in the future.

by the looks of it there working non Voice an Video support in 3.0.0 or earlier if you go to the Pidgin Development site
