fed..up..sata problems i think

wonder if u can help me with this. problem can best be described by looking at these shots:

I got these screens too. This is strange because, the screen with the 'lost insterrupt' message appeared with mandrake.... Only Fedora 1 & 2 did a perfect install.
This must be caused by the SATA disks controller. I heard there's still problems with one... Did you notice something like 'libata' or 'atapiix' being load, before it tested harddrives ?

i found a solution that works for me, install using te following command:
boot> linux acpi=off
