Old HP System 400MHz, 8G

I'm getting tired of windows so I'm going to try Fedora... I hope this works.. I have and old HP Pentium II (400MHz, 8G harddrive, no sound) and have a LAN card hooked up to DSL... will Fedora run on it or will it be too much for the system? I think I have 64MB RAM....

Hello:
128 MIb of Ram is the minimum.

The hardware requirements for Fedora can be found here.
Hardware requirements

You may want to look for a leaner distro such as DSL or Puppy etc.

I just gave Zenwalk a shot on a 196meg. 766hmz machine and it was VERY fast. Surprisingly, Elive RC2 also worked just fine.
