F9 Preview - is anyone getting ACPI errors at boot?

Hi,
Just have to say this has been the cleanest install of Fedora yet. Great!

I'm not experiencing any power-management problems, but I want to find out if anyone else gets ACPI errors at boot up. (4 in all)

Majikthise.

Maybe it's easy if you specify the errors?

could you look through your logs and post the relevant errors, if they are not in your boot.log file try remembering a word from the error and issue this command
Code:
dmesg | grep WORDYOUREMEMBERED
and look through the matched hits and determine which ones are relevant to your question
thanks

It looks pretty standard to me, probably just maximum verbosity for beta releases.

ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x01] lapic_id[0x00] enabled)
ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x02] lapic_id[0x01] enabled)
ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x03] lapic_id[0x82] disabled)
ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x04] lapic_id[0x83] disabled)

Majikthise.
Looks good to me, just that your computer does not have the ones in red, so when it goes through the detection settings it disables them becuase they wont be used.

Do you think this warning will be supressed in the final release?

Majikthise.

possibly. it might be suppressed in an upcoming kernel release via updates for the preview release
