Desktop Effects on F9 - Partial screen problem ...

Hello !!!

I installed beta F9 few days ago, and getting the same error than I installed F8 on my notebook.
I have a ZT3000 Pavillon notebook, with 1.5 Centrino - 1Gb ram and a Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP.

Now, when I turn on the Desktop effects I get a part (the right part) of the screen unusable like the effects only apply to a 4:3 resolution.
I use the native resolution 1280x800 (the effects worked fine in f7 with Beryl) and the effects only refresh a part of the screen I think refresh only 1024 x nnn.

I don't know the configuration file I need to edit to correct this problem in the Xorg file or in the compiz fusion file.

Thanks! any comment will be appreciated.

Ps: If you need two screenshots with and without effects, let me know and I can do that tonight!

Lucho.

I'm completely new to fedora or to any linux-based operating system....I'm experiencing the same problem but unlike your problem though...My notebook goes completely to the "WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH," I can also start my computer normally, and can log on, its just after the log on, I got nothing but a white screen and a mouse cursor. Read some of the post on the white screen of death and it seems as though their solutions didn't work out for me. On the same quest as you bro~,

I have an Nvidia graphics cards, been trying to get the driver to get installed but am constantly getting the message:
--> Missing Dependency: kernel-uname-r = 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686 is needed by package kmod-nvidia-2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686-173.14.12-3.lvn9.i686 (livna)
Error: Missing Dependency: kernel-uname-r = 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686 is needed by package kmod-nvidia-2.6.25.14-108.fc9.i686-173.14.12-3.lvn9.i686 (livna)

I'm confused....been reading for like 3 hours already~
