Toshiba Satellite 2450 Keyboard problem

Hi,

I had just installed a copy of fedora core 2 on my Toshiba Satellite 2450 laptop. Everything works fine apart from the keyboard. IHopefully somebody could be able to help.

While typing, the keyboard would somethings freeze up for no reasons, and I would end up losing the characters I type during period when the keyboard lockup. Usually it last not more than a second, but it's damn annoying, and it's happening quite fluequently.

sometimes this happens in the opposite way, while typing, the keys that were being press would repeat itself automatically without my input for a rougly the same amount of time as it would freeze up.

Thanks for reading.

Btw, is there a rpm for slmdm in Fedora? (Smart Link Soft Modem driver)

is your keybord set up correctly? us keyboard or us international and during installation did you install laptop or desktop settings?

click on your "star here" icon then go to > preferences > keyboard that may help change something there for your laptop!

good luck
