Fedora AMD64 Gnome Not Installing

Im having a real problem with FC2 at the moment this is the spec of my PC

ATI 9200 GPU
AMD 64 CPU
Asus SK8V Motherboard
2 x 160GB SATA Drives
etc etc

I can install the software no problems using anaconda and clicking minimal install - and install my program using the RPMS.

If i try and install the software using anaconda and select typical (i.e. with gnome). The software will install but Xfree will not run and crashes the computer.

Has anyone had a simular problem with either FC2 or the ATI cards using x86_64 ?

Regards

My ATI card works normally, what kind of errors is x.org putting out? (Check your /var/log/Xorg file in the command line)
