How do I take FC2 off my comp?

Hey guys I am sending my computer off to my sister and I need to format the hard drive and put some version of windows back on. I am new to linux and need a little help getting the hard drive back to fat32 or ntfs. Thanks

when windows ask you to select where you want to place windows
select that partiont /drive
hit enter
then press D on the next menu/window
then L
and it will delect that drive and bring you back to the first window
where can slect that drive again and then format it to fat or netfs
but the only side affect wiil be losing windows
i mean linux

dont worry fc2 is going to be on my new box i am building right now. but the problem is when i put the install cd into my computer it is ready to install and then nothing happens, so i thought it could be an upgrade so i put 98 in and 98 requires the filesystem to already be at fat32 or ntfs i tried running the format command but i dont know what the actual drive is called, i did format / but it said invalid. sorry i know this is becoming more windows problems then linux

Talking

use your fc2 rescue disk or disk 1
boot into linux rescue
due fdisk /dev/hd? = partiton
for press m for help
then pree d to all partitions and create one partition
change its type to fat 32
snip:
t change a partition's system id
to
b W95 FAT32
then write to disk
w write table to disk and exit
then reboot that should do it
