hi,
i want to install yahoo messenger on fedora 8. how can i do it?

you could try using Wine to do it, but i'd check the appdb first (appdb.winehq.net if i'm not mistaken)

Why not just use Pidgin and setup Yahoo Messenger from that?

The Yahoo messenager for Linux doesn't work right so your best to forget it.
