transmission not working

I used transmission in fedora 8, now it is not working in F9 beta. I removed it, still showed in the applications/internet list tho, then reinstalled it, now there is two in applications/internet. It still does not work. I removed F8 version but nothing.

Thanks

Hello:
Once you remove it via yum or otherwise ... check for your /home/username/.transmission
folder and remove or rename it, then re-install using yum with F9 and see how it goes.

It seems to work fine here with the 64bit version of F9?

Glad it is working, must be me then. I do have all the updates.
I yum remove transmission* then checked to see if the folder was removed, /home/username/.transmission and it is, but I see under applications/internet the icon for transmission is still there. Only once this time but it is there. Maybe if I can figure out how to get rid of the second copy then it might work. if I yum install trasnmission it shows up twice in the applications/internet drawer and neither works.
