Dlink DWL-G630 Wireless PC Card with Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 and Fedora 8

Hey all,

I am running Fedora 8 on a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600. I have all the latest updates as of tonight with a yum update. I'm trying to get a Dlink DWL-G630 wireless PC card to work in Fedora 8. Fedora recognizes the card, but when I try to activate the card I get the following:

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.

Determining IP information for wlan0... failed.

When using the F8 live cd, I could attempt to connect to one of my wireless AP's, using the SSID and WPA passphrase. But each time, F8 kept asking me for my WPA passphrase when I KNOW it's correct.

Is there anyway to get my F8 install to properly use my Dlink card?

Hi TC10284

I would suggest having a read of http://fedoramobile.org/wireless

It has sections on getting started and troubleshooting
