A minor problem needs a solution

ADAB! Whenever i click on Add/Remove Software icon in Application window for software installation, it shows the following message:

""Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: fedora. Please verify its path and try again""

And though my system is connected to Internet. PLZ help me in this regard for which i shall be greatly thankful to you.

Hello:

Assuming that you have working internet connection?
If so, then open a terminal and log in as root
then type and enter the following

yum clean all

yum check-update

If it does not work, then post the output of

yum check-update
and
yum repolist
