fedora core 2 + firefox = freeze

Hi

I use during many month's firefox on mandrake 9.X without any trouble...

Since I use fedora core 2, Firefox 0.8 OR 0.9 freeze sometime randomly. I can move the mouse but cannot click anywhere. When I try to do "ctl + alt +1" to change to teminal and restart Xserver, it imposible, like the computer is completly freeze. So I have to hit reset on my tower?

Did you have any idea? Or do you know 9 in with log file I can try to see a answer.

Thank for your help!

How many RAM modules do you have ? How much is your total RAM ? Do your ram modules mach with each other ? I faced the same problem , I have a PIII 750 running on D815EEA with 320 MB SDRAM ( 2x128+1x64) . The problem started when I upgraded it to 384 with 3x128. The last RAM module I purchased did not mach with my existing modules and did the same problems as yours. Now I went back to my older RAM and it is not happening again.
The problem also may occur due to swap space -- but in my case it was surely for the RAM.
